In May 2001, NCsoft established a branch office in Austin, Texas. The NC-Austin office houses world-class game developers, including Richard Garriott and Starr Long, known respectively for the development of the Ultima series and Ultima Online. The studio creates the next generation of online games and is currently working on its first title for NCsoft, Tabula Rasa.
Also located in Austin is NC Interactive, a subsidiary of NCsoft that services games released in North America. NC Interactive is responsible for public relations, customer service, game localization, and third party publishing.
Los Angeles
In March 2003, NCsoft opened an office in Los Angeles to focus on sales and marketing for NCsoftí»s flagship title, Lineage, as well as other games to be released in the United States.
ArenaNet
ArenaNet was founded in March 2000 by three key members of the creative teams that developed hit games such as Warcraft, StarCraft, and Diablo, as well as Battle.net, the most-successful gaming network in the world. In December 2002 ArenaNet, based in Seattle, Washington, became a wholly-owned subsidiary of NCsoft. The team is currently working on a state-of-the-art interactive online games network and its first multiplayer title.
